Math

The mathematics curriculum provides a logical, orderly method of taking the student from the known to the unknown. Regular, systematic testing and evaluation promote mastery of the material. Using the individualized system of learning, each student can succeed and develop his full potential. Your student will be encouraged to recognize God as the God of order and of absolutes.

Levels 1-4

Ace and Christi, two lovable cartoon characters displaying ideal Biblical character traits, provide the students with role models while introducing them to basic math skills. These skills are developed, mastered, reviewed, and consistently reinforced in a variety of imaginative ways throughout the material.

Level 5-8

• Engages in a comprehensive review of basic math concepts.
• Completes detailed examples in interactive instruction.
• Expands knowledge of fractions and decimals.
• Studies the relationship between fractions, decimals, and percents.
• Builds thinking, reasoning, and problem solving skills.
• Develops skills in pre-algebra and geometry.
• Level 8 focuses on a complete pre-algebra course and practical applications of learned mathmatic processes by money management, etc.

Students are actively involved, whether learning new concepts or practicing applications. Concepts are presented logically and completely, allowing students to achieve mastery.
